New Agreement Offers Speed, Ease of Use and Cost Effectiveness in Launching Direct Mail Campaigns PORTLAND, Ore. - April 19, 2001 - Zairmail, Inc., the first company to facilitate the convergence between the Internet and postal mail on a large scale, has signed with the United States Postal Service (USPS) to offer small businesses access to affordable, quick and convenient direct mail campaigns. Businesses constantly struggle with finding the most cost-effective, consumer-friendly and quick way to send out information, often times forcing them to sacrifice speed and to cut costs. Now, when small businesses visit the Postal Service’s newly launched USPSDirectMail site, (www.uspsdirectmail.com), they can access the Zairmail Web site, (www.zairmail.com), where they can launch their direct mail campaigns quickly, conveniently, and cost effectively directly from their desktops. “Zairmail was selected to be part of the Postal Service’s new merchant program because it has the ability to make direct marketing more easily accessible to small and medium-sized businesses. It has a nationwide network of printing facilities, proven direct mail experience and large volume printing capacity,” said John Ward, Vice-President of Core Business Marketing of the United States Postal Service. Through our postal Web site, we are providing small businesses with the most effective tools to produce a direct mail campaign online.” The agreement announced today at the National Postal History Museum in Washington, DC, gives users the option to create direct mail campaigns -- ranging from one letter to thousands of printed materials—and send them into the postal stream for delivery in one to two business days. Zairmail’s nationwide network of printing facilities ensures that the mail is printed and in the hands of the Postal Service in the fastest manner possible. “The relationship with USPSDirectMail.com underscores our core philosophy of empowering associations, franchises, and small business by providing them with the tools and resources necessary to compete in today's rapid economy. We are very excited to have this opportunity to work with the Postal Service to make it faster, easier, and often even less expensive for our customers to realize the full benefits of direct mail marketing,” said Wilson Zehr, CEO of Zairmail.
