Corporate Background
Portland, Ore.--Zairmail, Inc.’s use of Internet technology, combined with the universality of
postal mail, has created one of the most effective and innovative
communication tools in history.
Established in 1999 and based
in Portland, Ore., the company was founded by Wilson Zehr, CEO, Mojy
Mirashrafi, CTO, and Keith Jackson, vice president of business development, to
create a new convergence infrastructure tool to effectively bridge Internet
communications and postal mail delivery.
The company's web site (www.zairmail.com) makes
launching a direct mail campaign as easy as
sending an email. Zairmail’s
proprietary software, strategic partnerships and geographically distributed
printing & mailing network combine to offer a service that can rapidly
deliver postal messages – often overnight – for numerous applications.

Zairmail Products
Zairmail currently offers Zairmail Express Direct™ mail. This service provides a convenient and fast way to reach targeted audiences. Zairmail Express Direct allows businesses, associations and political campaigns to quickly and easily deliver direct mail programs.
Zairmail Express Direct™ Mail
- Zairmail Express Direct allows businesses, associations and political campaigns to easily launch effective direct mail campaigns, quickly and reliably.
- Currently, the average direct mail program takes more than three weeks to expedite, according to the Direct Mail Association (DMA). But with Zairmail Express Direct, the automated process can take as little as 24 hours to expedite.
Zairmail has created the first-ever, large-scale Mail-on-Demand (MoD) system. It is the bridge between online and offline consumers, which eliminates the time-consuming tasks associated with sending traditional postal mail. The process is as simple as:
- Log on to www.zairmail.com
- Upload your address list in CSV format and your Word or PDF document
- Press Send
The Zairmail Application infrastructure (ZAPi) serves as the foundation for a whole family of services. It works by integrating geographically distributed print & mail production facilities, routing letter traffic automatically, and integrating external data stores, like demographic data sources and mailing lists, from customers. This cutting edge system is capable of producing four-color, variable-data letter mail with run rates as small as one piece – at sustained high volumes. If any printing facility is temporarily out of service or overwhelmed, messages can be quickly routed to another site. Production Facilities
Zairmail’s existing sites provide overnight delivery in local markets and two-day delivery anywhere in the Continental United States. Zairmail is committed to providing overnight delivery service in the top 25 markets within a year.
Current Production Sites include:
- Sacramento, California
- Kansas City, Missouri
- Portland, Oregon
- Cleveland, Ohio
- London, Ontario, Canada
